Buddha & Karma
Buddha & Karma
Buddha taught the Art of Living, which is really a simple concept. No need to believe in a God that created or governs everything. The Art of Living is based on Karma or what goes around comes around. Following this allows us to take responsibility for everything that happens to us, good or bad.
We do not need to follow any religion or do any rituals. In fact, the teachings of Buddha are non-religious. Buddha's teachings have been turned into a religion by some countries, even though Buddha didn't want this. Buddha made it clear that his teachings were not dogma nor a philosophy, but a way to live our lives that would lead us to a permanent happiness.
If you're into Zen or Buddhism because it is in fashion this week, then you are wasting your time on this site. If you want to learn about the beauty of what Buddha taught us and enjoy the richness in your life that practicing brings, then you're in the right place. I tell it as I see it, in a no frills way, if you have thin skin, then beware of my directness.
Buddha's teachings enrich our lives through an intricate, yet diverse network of teachings and meditations. These teachings are so profound, yet subtle, they only leave us with a smile on our weathered faces! Buddha & Karma.
